Description

Junior wasn't always a jerk to some of his siblings. Here's a short story:

Tanya was looking through her brother Junior's room to look for her missing doll when she found a picture of Junior when he was younger hugging a light blue Chao with cobalt markings named Diver. When Junior came into the room, Tanya asked "Junior, who's this Chao named Diver?" while holding the picture up. That familiar name made Junior snatch the picture right out of her hands and look at it, just looking at it brought tears to his eyes and he starting crying. Tanya asked "Junior? Why are you crying?" In a crackling tone, Junior said "Tanya, get out. Now.", Tanya then said "But Junior-". With a clenched and trembling fist Junior yelled "Get out NOW!" and forced his younger sister out of his room. Wanting to know who that Chao was, Tanya asked her parents who Diver was. She was told that Diver was Junior's Chao, and that they were closer than two peas in a pod. They were friends for years until one day, Diver got a terminal illness, and passed away a month later. She was told that Diver passed away before she and her older twin brothers were born. Her mother said that Junior's behavior completely changed after Diver's passing, and that Junior was a very well behaved boy until that event. Tanya made a realization, maybe Junior was mean because he lost a best friend, his Chao, and was hiding his sadness by being mean and being somewhat of a bully. The thought made Tanya want to do something for her older brother, but a hug won't be the only thing she's going to do.
